Android 7.0 powered Nokia 6 breaks cover; Packs 4GB RAM and a 16 MP Camera
After many leaks and rumors doing the rounds, HMD Global has launched the first ever Android powered Nokia device. Called the Nokia 6, it has been launched in China and has been priced at CNY 1699 (approx Rs 17,000). For now, the Nokia 6 will only be available in the Chinese market through a website called JD.com.
Running Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box, the Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display covered in a 2.5D Gorilla Glass on top. Wrapped in an aluminum unibody design, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC which is backed by 4GB of RAM. It supports 64GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card.
Powered by a 3000 mAH battery, the Nokia 6 features a 16MP rear camera with PDAF and f/2.0 aperture. The front facing lens is an 8MP unit with f/2.0 aperture. The phone also supports Dolby Atmos audio. The legendary cellular phone brand is set to make a comeback this year with many more launches. Stay tuned!
